Turned down for PPI claim 3years ago what next

Options
Hi all,
Hope this is the way and place to start the question
About 3 years ago I started to get my finances in order and claimed back PPI from lloyds TSB and they paid out without any fuss. I also had a go at claiming back from Nationwide PPI paid on my mortgage.
They said NO and if you don't like it go to the ombudsman so I just whimped out and didn't pursue it. Although I really do feel it was paid and charged wrongly.
My question is ....... Is it to late to try again and if not what is my next step

Thank you in anticipation

Too late, you should have referred it to FOS within 6 months. Also nothing wrong with PPI for the mortgage.

Generally speaking yes. FOS time limits are six months.

If you have a good reason which wasn't considered when you originally complained, you can go back and ask them to reconsider their decision. Do you?

Just send another letter and see what they say!! I doubt they keep on file that you sent a letter in 3 years ago about ppi. If they refuse it again, refer it to FOS,

What have you got to lose except the price of a stamp!

They certainly do, the complaint with regard the PPI account number will be recorded as having had a "full and final" response.

Only a new complaint bringing new evidence not in the original has any chance at all. Why recommend clogging up the PPI departments still further?

OP had six months from the date of the ORIGINAL complaint rejection. No second complaint about the same finance can be considered.
