Best way to remove a type of creeper from house and moss...

Ok just bought a new house and it has a lot of moss across the roof, whats the best way to clean this all from the roof (thinking specialist) and I want to prevent it growing back.
Secondly across the back of the house the current owners have had some type of ivy on there (in-laws said it was Virginia Creeper as it has no leaves in the winter?)
Anyway are there specialist companies who could do this for me?
