Mortgage with wrong title (Mrs vs Ms) - legal implications?

Hi,
My wife and I recently applied for a mortgage via a broker. My wife has kept her maiden name therefore uses Ms as her title. For some unknown reason our mortgage application was applied as Mr X and Mrs Y. As soon as we were aware of this we notified both the broker and bank to have this corrected to Ms.
Now (a couple of week later since notifying the broker and bank) we have found out that the mortgage has been approved but still with Mr X and Mrs Y. I've raised this with the broker and was told that if we were to proceed with my wife's title change we would need to be re-assessed, and there is no guarantee what the approval outcome would be.
Other than the worry of the reassessed mortgage being rejected, if the offer was taken as is now, with Mr X and Mrs Y, what would the legal implications be? Mrs Y implies my wife was married to Mr Y but she isn't, she is married to Mr X. Am I overly worried over a title, when her name is correct?
Would appreciate any advice on this matter.
Thanks.
WL.

your title isn't part of your legal name or identity, so it shouldn't matter at all. Have you asked your broker why it wasn't corrected when you originally notified them? All posts are my personal opinion, not formal advice Always get proper, professional advice (particularly about anything legal!)0

Mrs vs MS has no standing legally as it's just a title.0

I've never used my married name. The mortgage and deeds nevertheless came through as Mrs Husband's name. Doesn't seem to matter to anyone but me.0

Thanks for the prompt responses! Definately calmed me down.
@TBagpuss - I'm waiting for the broker to respond on why the correction wasn't applied.
Apologies if this is in the incorrect sub-board, just realised there's a sub-board for "mortgages and endowments".0
