@Maslaw - parking attendants have issued windscreen tickets after just an observation period of 23 SECONDS before now!

So I can't see why you think it was a windscreen PCN, unless I'm reading the wrong bit? I believe it to be a parking attendant who took the photos, but did not have time to apply a windscreen ticket - heck, the car was only there for 1m30s.

The ANPR is irrelevant in this case - if there was a parking attendant - just because the ticket was not affixed - it is in essence a windscreen notice as confirmed also by their rejection letter.

Parkdirect notices to keepers are NOT compliant to invoke keeper liability under POFA so care needs to be written with the appeal.

You have identified yourself somewhat on this thread - and suggest you edit your posts accordingly - I need to clear some space in my pm box - but if you want to pm me tomorrow with redacted copies of your initial appeal and NtK received - will do POPLA appeal off forum if you want and send to you via email.

@4consumerrights - thanks so much, that will make me feel so much more confident about all this!

In regards to ANPR, I thought it applied whenever a windscreen ticket was not applied, but I stand corrected!

I will edit the appeal in the the am, and PM you straight away. Also, I will edit it to remove evidence of my identity, but I'm unsure what I've done to identify myself!

I will pm you an email address to use after receiving your pm and email addy tomorrow - that way you will know it is from me - as the PPCs do troll the boards.

delete any references to "I" linking driver! (will delete this bit after) and also the length of time you stayed in the car park! Other PPCs use very short times to id ops on this forum.

There are already two POPLA appeals re Park Direct on here this week, I seem to recall. Easy to copy. Easy to find by searching this forum.

@maslaw - had to clear more space for this - but yes have received all three parts! Had a quick glance and it looks a lot better - will go through later and send any tweaks needed back to you.

FYI - if you want to save a copy of any pm - go to advanced and click to save a copy box.
