Im having a nightmare finding jeans that fit I have the problem of a smaller waist and thunder thighs so for comfort could do with a size 10 round the waist and 12 round the thighs. I loathe clothes shopping always feel so self conscious for some reason, so any advice where are the best places for decent sizing so I can make it as painless as possible please.

I'm not sure if the Levi curve jeans are any good, they are fitted to shape 'curves'
I swear by next jeans but what's right for one won't be right for everyoneNo more unnecessary toiletries Feb 2014 INS: 24 UU: 13. Mar 2014. INS: lost count, naughty step for me! UU: 80 -
I think if you try next jeans get a size smaller than you are because mine continually slip down so I have to wear a belt all the time.
Just go round your town and go to all the major stores at a quiet time, like during the week and try some on. You will only know if there o.k when you try them.0 -
The Gap curvy jeans range.
I am a tall, strapping lass (I could step in at short notice and finishing ploughing the field if the plough horse went off sick.:) )To make matters worse I have an hourglass figure, all boobs and bum which never seem to fit into anything the clothes shop sell. However, GAP curvy jeans fit me perfectly. They look almost tailored on me. Even better they do half sizes e.g 30, 31, 32 etc.

I'm always a size (sometimes 2) smaller in jeans than in trousers......No more unnecessary toiletries Feb 2014 INS: 24 UU: 13. Mar 2014. INS: lost count, naughty step for me! UU: 80 -

I can sympathise. I would give anything to find a pair of jeans that I can wear with flats without having to alter the length. Regular are too long and petite too short. I am 5ft 5" so others must have the same problem.
Skinny jeans are OK, I would just love to find some straight or bootcut options for a change. I have the same problem in all trousers.0 -
I have a similar problem but found a nice pair of M&S stretchy skinny jeans fitted and also a pair from Red HerringLife is a coin, you can spend it anyway you wish, but you can only spend it once.
Go as far as you can see, and when you get there you'll see further.

I used to buy new look skinny jeans. It took years to find the perfect fitting jean and what did they do? Tweaked the design. So I'm now back to square one.
It's a never ending cycle.0
