Pre ordering a car and finance

Hi there,

please could you answer me a little question for my ever lovely brother. He thinking of ordering a car (they haven't got what he wants in yet) is finance arranged when he orders it-or at the point of delivery?

I have a funny feeling there was a case on here where the car was ordered and finance was agreed but because of the delay in delivery the finance quote had lapsed and then refused when the applicant re-applied.

The best place to ask is at the dealer where you are going to buy.

ahh thats interesting, thank you for that. I'll tell him to call.

Its because his year end is end of april and once the books go to the accountants he wont have an upto date financial statement until he gets them back-which can take a while. so was hoping to arrange b4-but yes no good if lapses either.
