IB to ESA, and have received P45 but no explanation why

Hiya
I recently attended an Atos medical, and they put me onto work-related ESA, which I am appealing, as it is very clear that I am unable to work and need to be on support ESA [already on DLA]. I am still waiting for a response, having written to ask for a reconsideration. I just received a P45, stating leaving date and date benefit ceased to be 6 March 2014. Is this a standard thing, having gone from IB to ESA?

Yes, it is - for some reason, they are sent out automatically, upon migration from IB to ESA.
It won't affect your appeal.
