Monarch Airlines booking terms and conditions

For a start I'm unsure if I'm on the correct thread or indeed if you can assist!
I have a complaint regarding Monarch Airlines and their 'free' check-in conditions but I'm unsure if my claim is valid and thereafter who, if anyone, would be concerned.
Basically > "If you would like to take advantage of free online check-in you will need to choose and pay for a seat. If you don't want to pay for a seat you can still check-in for free at the airport." - Monarch Airlines
Surely the airline should cease in their reference to free on-line check in as they make it a condition you have to purchase a seat so the wording should be "If you would like to take advantage of online check-in you will need to choose and pay for a seat."
May seem petty however I see many messages (particularly from people overseas where first language is not English) where people think if they do not pay they have not got a seat on the plane!!! So in essence they are duped into paying the extra at booking stage not realising they can check in for free (and get a seat!) at the airport check in desk.
Any help appreciated.

It says free check in when you book a seat. Check in is still free if you don't.
Can't see an issue with it personally...0 -
Any help appreciated.
What help are you looking for? Will this help:-

Personally I see nothing wrong with what they say and if foreigners aren't sure then they should ask.0 -
I'm another one who can't see a problem with their wording or conditions. If 'foreigners' customers are having a problem understanding the written English all they have to do is pick up the phone and call Monarch. I would think though if they understand English enough to actually use the website to book a flight they shouldn't have any problem understanding the seat booking terms.0

Wouldn't foreign customers just click the drop down arrow next to the Union flag and select to view the site in their own language?0
