I would be very surprised if the clutch is covered by the warranty, the actual clutch plate is classed as a wear and tear item and a lot of warranties wont cover replacement of a clutch plate

If one of the clutch components has broken and it is this broken component that is causing the noise and rattle then the broken item might be covered by your warranty

i dont think you have done yourself any favours with the e mail that you sent and some of the things that you put in it like
reporting yourselves to the trading standards agency or itv's rogue traders or simply leaving my car outside your garage with a notice not to purchase from yourselves as you do not honour your agreements nor the rights of the consumer.

when in the negotiating stage trying to get the problem looked at polite and factual communication is the best way to make things happen, going in all guns blazing and making threats is more likely to rub people up the wrong way

is it a dual mass flywheel problem ?

when the car is idling in neutral with clutch up you are getting a rattly noise when you depress the clutch the noise seems to disappear, could be a dual mass fly wheel

Google ford focus dual mass fly wheel symptoms
