Thanks, Pink-winged and redruby for your answers. It never even occurred to me to take it in an airtight box (clearly the brain is mushier than the avocado this evening!!).
And there are some great ideas on that link- many thanks...I am off back to Lidl tomorrow night to see if I can snaffle some more 20p bargains so that I can work my way through my new list of "want-to-try"s!! :rotfl:

Read an article in Red magazine by a nutritionist who said she made wraps filled with mashed or pureed avocado and processed peas.Said it sounded weird but was nice!As i love anything avacadoish I thought it sounded worth a try (try anything once!).Does she mean marrowfat peas, like in tins?
Anyone else ever tried this?0 -
Found this recipe using frozen peas.

Suprised the nutritionist didn't go for the more nutritious option!
Hope it helps, will be trying myself this week, got two avocados to use up.

Processed peas are tinned like marrowfat but smaller. But they are easily interchangable. Shame I don't like avocado as I LOVE processed peas.:oPut the kettle on.0
