Yes I was awarded MRC and LRM from March 2013 by DLA.
In October 2013 due to changes to my health they looked at my claim again and put me on HRM with the Care element staying at middle rate it was in Jan 2014 the DLA made their decision a week later I received the IS10 form confused by why it meant I contacted ESA and they told me I was entitled to SDP due to a change in circumstances and that I would receive a back payment to the date my DLA started but they only paid me to the date they got the IS10 they did state it was an oversight on their part as they had not checked my DLA award earlier and offered an apology

Speedfreak1000 is correct and SDP can be backdated to the date it was awarded if it was on or after your claim for ESA, your case has probably been referred to a Decision Maker to decide if SDP can be backdated.
The Regulations under which SDP can be backdated are Social Security (Decisions and Appeals) Regulations 1999, Regulation 6(2)(e). I suggest you ask them to check them if you have any problems being paid your arrears.
