Yes - I think I need to do this now too. I am dreadful about not planning things meals in advance though as we tend to do lots of things on the spur of the moment. I guess that my current dizziness will put a limit on that though.
One of my biggest problems is that I got into the habit (when working full time) of buying whatever I fancy without thinking it through and then wasting much of it. I think I could also try living out of the freezer for a fair few meals too - although to be honest I think there's more ice cream in there than anything else!
Nenen have you thought about a slow cooker would help with not being able to stand cooking I got a family sized on out of Ts for £12
There's also the grocery challenge thread in the old style forum the first post gives good ideas on ways to cut your shopping bill0 -

I second that suggestion:T
And the Mr T one for £12, which looks good value. Argos sometimes have them on sale too (by 'sale' I mean cheaper than normal).
I got a slow cooker off freecycle, for free; so worth keeping an eye out there, or post a 'Wanted' for one.'It is better to remain silent and be thought a fool, than to open your mouth and remove all doubt.'

And as an added bonus there's a whopping 20p c/b from TCB on Dr P
Will have to be careful not to get too many at once if you want to keep that APG at a reasonable level.0 -
Just got home and thanks to SFSB and Dee Dee we have a nice glitch.
My question to some of you is how to get a APG that's the same value as the spend past the SA? No chance in my store, you get 101 questions even if its half what you spent, which is obviously so easy! :mad:0
