Ts I am so sorry things are not going right at the moment, I know how stressful it is when things don't go to plan so late in the house process..a few years ago we were due to exchange and complete on the same day and the whole lot fell through..it was so stressful . You could be right about the property developer buying hers, I guess it's his business and he has to be ruthless.

It's basically saying that the price of corn has gone up dramatically. In the US, 40% of their corn is used to make ethanol (for fuel). There is less corn for animal feed and also for us (cornflakes etc).

The animal feed pushes the price of everything up, including the meat of the animals.

Now talking about eggs - cost of battery hens/eggs and free range. Their dependence on corn for the chicken feed affects egg prices. It's really interesting.

Something very similar happened to my sister, all members of the chain altered their price and took less to ensure the chain did not die, but it left a very bitter taste in their mouths.

When there is bereavement issues linked to the sale, I think it is just cruel...
