Who are they flying with? It will probably say in the T&Cs somewhere
Virgin I think, a quick google seemed to suggest it will be ok but I wanted real people's experience iyswimIt can vary depending on the airline but when we flew with virgin it does not count as part of the luggage allowance...I think if I remember correctly you can either drop it off at the large item area or keep it with you until just prior to boarding...but it may be wise to check with the airline
Are they hiring a car?...travel seats are very much a requirement in the US and can be hired as part of the rental package without having to take your owntigerwhite wrote: »I think it's classed as separate (i.e. not checked baggage and not within your luggage)
Yes they're hiring a car, not sure if they've got a car seat organised as part of it or not. It's a lot to carry around at the airports- 2 kids, 4 cases, 2 adults and a buggy plus car seat so I said to make sure there is a car seat at the other end, it's one less thing for them to worry about

When we went to Florida, Virgin carried our buggy and car seat free of charge, in addition to our actual luggage.
Please be wary of hired car seats!!!!0 -

Hi everyone on a non shopping note, can I ask those that live Bicester way, is it easy to get from oxford town rail or better to go direct . Going direct is costing £161 return  so just looking at cheaper ways of doing it
I guess I must be reading this wrong because Oxford to Bicester is about a fiver, unless the post was related to the recent banter about travel to Florida in which case that sounds like a deal0 -
