What a terrible few hours we've had:(

DD rang to say she was in A and E at Queen Elizabeth Birmingham and she was in a bit of a state. She had crushed her left hand under a weight at the gym. It fell on to her and she felt her index finger "pop".. She is left handed and half way through her dentistry course.

Graphic photos followed which knocked us sick.

I thought the blackest thoughts:o

Anyway to cut a long story short. ....She is fine. Nothing broken but nasty softy issue damage.
Her whole career could have been wiped out.

We've had a couple of stiff drinks. We were almost in the car to head down to see her.:(
