    Do I or don't I?

Onion sets are bought and raised bed is prepared.
Don't know whether to plant or not. It's still a little early and there still could be some winters weather yet.
On the plus side the soil is lovely and warm....:think:

I'm not the most knowledgeable person when it comes to growing veg but if the earth feels warm then I would be inclined to :) (but not today there is suppose to be a frost tonight)

I'm more of a minimalist person :) I just don't buy "stuff" to start with and I appreciate that kids toys are a different matter. If I have things that don't get touched then it gets chucked as clearly it has no purpose. Can't stand clutter.

Clothes I keep till they are thread bare :o Don't buy clothes often either and when I do I buy 2 or 3 of the same thing. Although I have lost a lot of weight I still wear size 18 - so I look a bag lady but I live in the middle of nowhere and hardly seen :D- that's my excuse. Jeans and trousers are a bit trickier to wear and have a few pairs of Armani jeans that need to go to the charity shop.......
Something unexpected happened which made me smile and still continues to make me smile.

I vote yes for the onion sets too.
DH is outside right now getting our raised beds ready, though we haven't really decided what to grow yet this year. Probably potatoes, leeks, runner beans and peas. Maybe some parsnips too. Carrots don't do well here as our soil is too stony. Will do tomatoes and salad leaves too in the little plastic greenhouse. Ooh, feeling all summery now thinking about it :)

    Good afternoon peeps

Does anyone know if there's a thread with a list of companies that deliver worldwide for free?
I know there's one/a few book shops that deliver free but don't know which ones.

This is for someone else that posts to America and spends nearly as much on postage as they do gifts. Posting direct from companies will save them loads of money

    Thanks
My SiL uses the american amazon site.

I don't know if there's a thread on here BUT we always have to buy gifts for the grand-daughter in the US. Have been annoyed when we've found 'just the thing' for her and then got to the payment stage only to find out you can just pay with an American credit card.

    We now stick to :-
    Amazon.com
    Target.com
    JC Penney
    Sears
    K-Mart
    Macys

There may be more that accept UK cards but those are the main ones we use. Some may only do free postage for over a certain amount. Amazon seems to be the main one we use.
Have been really annoyed getting through to some like ToysRUs and Walmart - as if money launderers would be buying small amounts of toys! The Americans in the most part are crazy about money laundering and terrorists after 911.

Don't forget ebay - just add recipients address to ebay account. OR is it also to Paypal account.

You buy the Whiskas cat food & you get a bowl free with every box.

It doesn't work on 40p pouches :o or £1.29 boxes of cat biscuits :o

Mine are in, I couldn't wait any longer and did them last weekend. I was a bit worried it might be to early but went for it anyway. :)
