Is that the wrinkly discount they give out on a Tuesday ;)

You may have noticed it's Saturday :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Spent the afternoon putting up two of the fence panels (we had to cut one down) and making up another one from the fences we took down, this one is an odd size so has to be made up.

TS, last time my fridge went I froze a load of freezer blocks and put the essentials in cool bags, rotating the freezer blocks.

As someone else said, freecycle and freegle may well have a fridge suitable for a temporarary solution.

When it was first posted the Op said it was n/a on msm

Morries prices on the APG are still taken from instore checks

I personally think this is safe because it is against Morries and the price collection is still done manually so what is on msm and msl is misleading.
thanks aau & savvy sal :T:T
    think i may do a c&c for tomorrow :)

For anyone skimming/reading backwards DON'T GO SURFING

too late for me, I was already out of the door :D

So I went via CS on the way out.

So if anyone is left with £10 BMs to use up its worth doing a slow walk up and down the aisles in Sainsburys on the look out for red sale SELs.
In ours I found carton blocks of chopped tomatoes with olives and with olives plus olive oil down from 55p to 30p, jelly beans reduced to 20p from £1.34 - sadly only one on the shelf, also lazy garlic sachets for 20p - very top shelf but none left in mind, not the little jars, just the sachets, also Encore 400g chicken kitten dry cat food in a black bag (top or bottom shelf) reduced from £2.99 to £1.
Also worth looking in the freezer as Sainsburys are always reducing their ice creams and party foods.

Put the freezer blocks in the fridge, and keep the food in the fridge, as it will be heavily insulated.

Mine came today too. So one, a jumper, was in OH name and I like that and it fits. great.

The other order is in my name and it is awful. I am really disappointed. The dress just looks terrible. I have read the return section but do I have to return the sleeping bag?

I am hoping not as keeping just 1 is no good ( as I have twins). They are flimsy but perfect for long car journeys.

    Anybody know? Help appreciated, thanks.

I would presume it would have to be sent back if you were returning the ordered item. However I would defo try sending just the dress back and seeing if they said anything. If they did just ask if you could order something else instead. The returns state that all exchanges are free so you wouldn't have to pay p+p?

    Worth a go. X

Mrs Stinkychops.....is it true....you are now a decent woman!

Congratulations. When did you find time?

Poor TS and her fridge. This house sale can't happen quickly enough for you.

Just checked the Presecco is in the fridge for this evening....there must be something I can find to celebrate:rotfl:

    Off to polish my flutes:rotfl:

I found a bottle of chilled prosecco in mum's fridge earlier I forgot I put it in there. Probably trying to hide it from Mr TS. :o;):rotfl:

We have carried on moving stuff today as if completion still going to happen on suggested date. I know buyer has booked removal van.

Tumble dryer has been moved from mum's shed to ours but we won't be able to use it as no electric in our shed and Mr TS has buried it at the back under load of camping stuff. :(

I wonder if Dotty has got his DW connected yet. :D

    Evening all

Can confirm whiskas bowls working nicely with the dry food. DDs cats will not eat that wet stuff for some reason. Bowls put away for them for xmas.
DD went to nearly new sale today and got dgd a peppa pig fancy dress outfit, a huge iggle piggle and the fisher price aeroplane with crew all for £7:j
Dgd has already worked out where the pilot sits:D

Had fun in Mr T as paid for shopping with £35 of apgs and £2.52 in cash. Lovely lad on self service tills.

Right off to catch up on the days posts.

I might have to do that with the cheese, if I have to get it out of mum's quick. :rotfl:

We do have an electric cool box we could use too. Luckily have managed to fit what I didn't have to throw out in the camping fridge, it's actually an Argos value table top one so has a bit of room.

Had to throw quite a lot away that has spoiled though, think it must have been off for couple of days. :(

I had a nice chicken paupiette whoopsied from Ts deli counter, got it Thursday but had todays date on but the chicken had gone a funny colour all down one side, could not chance eating it.

I normally eat things way past their BB date, so of course quite a few things I have not taken a chance with, especially lots of opened cheese it was really stinky. :o

I had some bacon that was actually in date and unopened still looked nice and pink so have kept that will use my nose when I open it. ;)
