Thanx for your replies FC :)
I've had 14 years of his oddness so nothing ever surprises me anymore but like you say, kids (and adults) can be so cruel so I don't think I'll ever stop worrying about him :o
I think you have a point and the honest route is better as if I make a big thing out of it he'll just watch videos in secret (we've had this before).

And on that note I'm off to bed.
Need to figure out a nice way to explain this to DH when he gets home from work tomorrow  I can see him running back out the door to work :rotfl:
    Night all!

Night and good luck with this. PM me if you want/need to....any time.

No, thankfully they're still at the sleepover stage....just! My own behaviour as a teenager makes me a rather vigilant parent  :o

We are in wales this weekend, and we have not long driven through thick and I mean blizzard snow, in the valleys. I hope it not coming this way.

Goodnight elite, thank you for such a great day.
Mortgage debt 45,000. Thank you all for your help so far in helping me save to buy the house. I could not have done this without all your help.

Yes he did! It took him about half an hour but he was beaming when he finished it :D so, it cost me £10 for a t-shirt, £10 sponsor money, £1 to enter and dinner from the chippy because he thought he deserved a treat :rotfl:

A really worth while result then. Glad he enjoyed it as that is the main thing.

He subject earlier was on mens clothing habbits. This is going back a few years but I used to pack up dh2 clothes I didnt like and if he didnt ask for any of them in 2 years they all went to the tip. If he then asked for an item I trashed I would say I had never seen it so he must have left it at last g/f place. In the end I just threw out anything I didnt like. Me being a woman, he would never throw my clothes away as he was aware I never had anything to wear:rotfl:

So glad I no longe have these problems to contend with. You ladies are:A

Grounding was a last resort in those days. No one wanted kids under their feet! Stopping pocket money was a much more preferable option!
Couldn't confiscate gadgets back then :D that is by far the most effective punishment nowadays :D:rotfl::rotfl:
