    Xmas Saver!
Regarding OH's and clothing, my OH is very annoying about jeans also. He must have around 15 pairs of jeans in his wardrobe and more in the loft! They're all similar styles. I've tried to get him to wear combats but he's not keen and not worn the ones I got him for ages. I'm fed up of seeing him in jeans and a Lacoste polo shirt, its like his signature uniform :D Another thing that annoys me is when he casts clothes aside saying they don't fit when they look like they fit to me!

mhoc, when my son started to leave his dirty socks and undies instead of putting them in the washing basket, I kept stuffing every pair into his pillowcase. He soon got the message. Your OH seems a bit more stubborn though so I'd probably buy two laundry baskets and throw all his clothes into each of them and place them in the bottom of the wardrobe. He still has to sort them out himself but at least you've got a tidy floorspace.

Stubborn definitely - and also unwilling to accept that there are just 2 of us at home now so things are changing and the domestic order that reigned over the last 20 years no longer applies.

The washing problem has def become a problem since we have an empty nest. Previously when everyone was home I was doing 3 or 4 loads a day so if extra washing came down it just went into the next wash next day, never an issue unless someone persistently left washing on their bedroom floor - OH would and still does store/hides things behind the bedroom door and it would never occur to him to bring washing down in the morning or when he got changed after work

Now though there is just 2 of us. Jeans and heavy cotton I wash once a week or whenever there is enough to make a load. Darks washing maybe twice a week - so of course OH appears with socks and underwear the day after I've done a dark wash
Light cottons and work shirts I try to do on a Friday night or Saturday so they are dry for the working week but you can certain that on Sunday morning if I look in the wash basket there are another pile of shirts that OH has managed to hide somewhere and there they will sit until the following Friday. I say "is that all of your shirts" he will say yes but of course it isn't.

I know he wants me to go looking for his washing and to pick up after him and then to wash, dry and put his laundry away afterwards - why though, no one has ever done this for me and I would never expect it.

I have made a small amount of progress though. If there is washing load to do I set the machine up at night and leave him a note and he now has to press the "on" button on the washing machine when he gets up at 6 :T

He has also been known to tackle his own pile of wet socks and underwear and hang them up without being asked - previously he always insisted it was the lads washing and nothing to do with him!

Well I wouldn't say you've made a mess of it. It's just that the multi has kicked in so GLITCH OVER (on those if not all varieties). Out of interest what does W come back as?
If you don't want them take them back ;)

Yes you are right, the glitch is over. These are the W results for one of the 2 shops:

    :(:(:(

Yes there were a few bottles of poo in the end, of various varieties. It is currently all over the boot of my car, but safely in plastic bags (so long as they don't leak everywhere ;)).

And they really didn't agree with me. If you look closely, you can see all sorts in there - Orange, Nectarine, Mango .

I'm just so embarrased :o I didn't listen to the advice on here. Second time in a week I have taken one for the team (the Carex handsoaps)

You get so fed up of them looking so scruffy - the bottoms on all of my OHs jeans are frayed and tatty and crumbled shirts, goodness knows what people from work think - at work all week suited and booted but at home and around local shops and in town looking like park bench resident :rotfl:

    Afternoon all :)

Loving all the moaning about OHs and clothes :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

It's trainers with my OH. Despite the fact he rarely goes anywhere, he has a thing for buying them. There's hardly a week that goes by that he doesn't get some delivered. In fact since my epic shoe clear out I reckon he has more pairs of footwear than me!
Then every few months he goes through them all and sells some on eBay, sometimes without having worn them. I just leave him alone, it seems to keep him amused :D

......and like mhocs OH, he's nag proof! :rotfl:
