i was in there a little while ago the caramel medleys were showing on msl when i was in the store so i gave them a miss as i didn't get a reply to what other triggers i could get in time so have a feeling caramel medleys won't work

Maybe it feels a bigger deal to you because you are feeling so fed up? Maybe to her it's not such a big deal. If she's a really good friend then tell her that it upsets you when she lets you down, because you're feeling a bit down in the dumps at the moment and really look forward to getting out and having company. Chances are she doesn't realise that it bothers you so much. Some people need things spelling out to them.
From the other side, up until recent years I lived with someone who wasn't at home an awful lot. It's hard going sometimes and she probably wants to spend as much time as possible with her partner when he is at home.
