Laptop to TV

Can someone please tell me what the name of the lead is that I need to get to connect my laptop to my tv?

that depends on what connections the laptop and tv have.

hdmi possibly, available in pound shops

how do i know what connections they have? Laptop has the usual connection slots. The tv is a toshiba flat screen. Any help?

I run my laptop to my TV via HDMI.

yeah it has a HDMI port.

The TV should if it's a modern flat screen tv too.

Absolutely none! What are the 'usual connection slots' for a laptop?!
Look for an HDMI connector on each, that's easiest.

Doh! According to the spec you only have USB ports so you probably only need a USB to HDMI adapter - readily available.
Wonder why nobody else offered advice???
(hope I'm right)
