Which notebook/ultrabook should I get?

I do freelance writing and so far I just use my desktop PC, which is a pain as it's upstairs and sometimes I want to be able to write while I'm downstairs, out and about, etc. I need something that's fast to get on the internet, easy to carry around, has Word on it and is reliable. I don't need to use it for music, gaming, videos or anything like that, just for work really. And I was hoping not to spend more than £500 (less if possible). Can anyone recommend something geared towards office/business use and do these things have Word on them as standard? Thanks!!

I've got a Medion The Touch E1317T, Notebook, from Asda.
It's not got the biggest screen (10.1" widescreen), but it's light at only 1.35kg.
It comes with Windows 8, and a full Version of Office Home & Student 2013.
It's got a decent battery life (up to 4.5 hours), and has a USB 3.0 socket (plus 2x USB 2.0 sockets), an HDMI socket, and a SD, SDHC, SDXC & MMC card slot. HDD is 500GB.
All this for under £200.
True, it doesn't have a DVD drive, but you can plug a portable one in (I've tried it and it works fine), and play DVDs.0 -
I'd like a screen size around 13" if possible. The Asda one sounds good, I'm just a bit worried the screen might be a bit small but that's the sort of thing I want. I can't use an iPad with a keyboard becuase I need to have Word. Any other ideas?
Thanks all who have replied so far!0 -
And also if things don't say they come with Word is it easy to put it on them, and how expensive?0

Microsoft Surface RT tablet with a snap on keyboard will set you back about £350 these days I think (Surface 1).
Fantastic piece of kit and designed especially for those who just want something that has internet access and office.0 -
I do a lot of writing though so I'm not sure if a detachable keyboard would be good enough to stand up to the writing I do?0
