ESA new claim how long for payment?

I started a new claim for ESA a few days ago after loosing my appeal, its been over 6 months since the decision, ive sent of a sick note etc, i was just wondering how long it usually takes until you get your 1st payment?

Hi my ESA ended 18th Jan started new claim with new fit note got first payment 13 Feb, but depends on your circumstances, also best to copy and send by recorded delivery all documents for your records.

Thanks for the reply, i suspected it would take a good 4 weeks or so. Guess ill just have to wait and see now. thanks again.:)0
