101cd.com just cancelled my order query

Couple of weeks now I ordered from HMV a CD and also one from 101cd.com. The HMV one arrived but not the one from 101cd.com, so I checked the website and found they had actually cancelled my order although it has been tracked ok with Quidco. I have sent them 2 emails with No Response to the reason why. The CD was £8.99 now it is listed at £14.99. They should at least have let me know the reason for cancellation although it seems to point to the price difference. Has anybody else had this happen I wonder. Thanks Mrs Happy

have you actually been charged for the item?
They possibly had only a limited number of stock available at the reduced price thats why your order was canceled. Thats the problem when you order anything on line, they can cancel it and nothing you can do, you have agreed to their T&C's0 -
No I was never charged, checked via my mastercard on line but it is listed as tracked on Quidco still. I see this morning on HMV they are doing the same CD for £9.99 so I will go for that one. I just wish they could inform customers and respond to communications...afterall good treatment of us customers= more sales surely.0

101cd have gone down hill a bit lately.
I tend not to use them these days. There are plenty of other suppliers on Quidco and a quick check on http://www.find-cd.co.uk or http://www.find-dvd.co.uk will tell you which are the cheapest.0 -

Yes I always use that site thanks to MSE postings and that is how I came to order from HMV and 101cd for the 2 CD's I wanted...Checking yesterday HMV is my new choice for the cancelled CD thanks for nothing to 101cd.com.
This is One Customer that will not use them again now. The Best Price is important to me but if they will not honour an order its really not worth the disappointment.
Its good to remind people of the above link when buying CD's and DVD's. It really does save time. Thanks Mrs Happy0
