Default student and benefits
Hi guys,
I hope you may be able to help?
I will beginning full time education in September and would like to know the following;
What part of my student loans/ grants will be considered income for Hb concerns.
Will I get a reduction in council tax and can I claim CTR?
Do working tax/child tax credits count as income for HB?
Is the child care grant or childcare element of tax credits better?
Any and all advice greatly appreciated.
*my wife works pt 24 hrs per week at 6.50 ph. We have a 2 year old daughter who will be attending child care.
I currently do not claim any benefits due to full time employment*
