What should we do??

We had an offer accepted on a house in November. The house is old and has a barn which has a flying freehold, meaning that the upstairs belongs to the house we are buying, also most of the downstairs. However there are 4 coal sheds at the back of the barn which are used by holiday cottages next door.
There is a Deed of Covenant for the sheds that belong to one cottage but the other 2 sheds are shown to belong on the plans (wrongly) to the house we are buying. It was agreed that a Deed would be drawn up with the owners of the cottage to transfer the sheds to them, with us being responsible for maintaining the upstairs and them being responsible for maintaining the sheds. This was supposed to take place but we are still waiting for it to be finalised - apparently there are discrepancies with other bits of the cottage's deeds, which don't affect us but this means the whole process is taking time with the Land Registry, and until now the sellers and the owners of the cottage don't seem to have done much about it.
We have a buyer for our house who is keen to exchange. Our solicitor tells us we shouldn't exchange and complete until this is sorted (we are financing the purchase ourselves, so not reliant on mortgage or sale).
We are tempted to say s*d it and just buy it - after all, on paper we own the sheds so really it seems like it is the other people's responsibility to sort it if they want them? But will this come back to bite us on the bum later?? What would other people do??

Not sure what's up with riggster, is he out on day release? . . .
Anyway, back to the question, what would I do?
I'd probably just buy it, but . . . the decision is yours
My drive to my garage at the rear of my property uses a bit of land that obviously at some time (long time ago) belonged to my next door neighbour. It's fenced off as if it were mine but my deeds have never been changed. I was sick of the messing about so I "just bought it". Next door has changed hands twice and no one has ever raised any questions about it. Maybe their deeds have been amended, I really don't know, of course it may come back to bite if I try to sell. I'll cross that bridge if it happens.0 -
Yes thats the way we are veering, just fed up with all the delays and if we don't agree on dates before Friday, our solicitor will be on holiday for a week!! I suppose the solicitor is just trying to be super cautious in case it comes back to bite her as well!!0
