TV Licence Paid by DD Change Quarterly to Annual

This may have been asked else-thread, but despite several searches I can't find any information. I've also tried the TV Licencing website but my specific enquiry isn't there in FAQ either.

We currently pay our TV licence quarterly, but I'd like to switch it to annual to save £5 a year.

I cannot find out how to! Is there a simple process, or do I have to phone the 0300 555 0281 (chargeable) number? A link to the appropriate page would be just fine.

i remember having this conversation with my DD a while back and she said something along the lines of she was told you would have to pay the full amount upfront within a month of cancelling the monthly DD
so i think what she meant was if you currently have a quarterly DD set up you would need to during the second month of the last quarter change the DD to an annual payment of the full licence amount then cancel the quarterly DD.
does that make sense?
