Help needed please.

I have just tried to log on to my laptop, Windows 7.

I entered my password and a message came on saying' The User Profile Service service failed the log on.
User profile cannot be loaded.

I only managed to get on with my husbands part of computer with his password.

Does anyone know what has happened and how can I put it right?
