I had same issue, virgin cable in the lounge but I wanted Freeview HD for bedroom telly.
I put Blake DMX10 in the loft and it's fine, since the digital switchover the power of Freeview transmissions has been wound right up.0 -
I would check any aerial already installed before even attempting to put any new cable on0

If the OP wants a specific answer, he'll have to divulge at least the first part of his postcode. Does he already have a TV aerial? If so, where and what type?0

I live in WS4
I have scouted around the house (only lived there 2 weeks) and there is a roof aerial, without getting my compass out it looks like it's facing toward Sutton Coldfield receivers, and there is a cable that goes into either the top of my bedroom or the bottom corner of the loft.
The idea of running a cable from downstair sky to upstairs seems too much hassle, would rather pay £10 a month for multiroom!
Thank you all for help and suggestions, it's much appreciated!0
