Thank you for that, crime fiction reading being a staple of my diet and calorie, cholesterol and carb free too! (Well we have to enjoy something don't we?)
And if I may indulge a moment. My jury is out on Hoffman at the moment. Her first book (Retribution) was very over-hyped. So much so, that, to save money, I'd recommend visiting the library or waiting to get your hands on a remaindered copy. It was so 1980s and lacked sensitivity given the subject matter. If you like crime and haven't yet got around to it, I recommend The Blind Man of Seville by Robert Wilson (follow up The Silent and The Damned), pure class folks and worth an investment. Get a signed copy if you can, he will hit the big time.0 -
