Can anyone tell me the best way of linking the above? I've found a V2V Pro Video to VGA converter demo'd on youtube but it seems to be old hat, unavailable on Amazon except for Chinese import.
Any alternatives or any UK suppliers? Thanks.

If your monitor only has VGA, it might be difficult and expensive. PS2 wants to connect to (in order of quality) component (red, blue green phono), SCART (carrying a variety of different signals), composite (single yellow phono). This is all analogue and can be difficult to convert, and will likely look rubbish on a PC monitor. In fact, depending on the size of monitor you have, it may be cheaper and better quality if you just buy a cheap little TV that takes SCART!0

Give up while your ahead, would be advice. while VGA and scart are both analogue, there both two very different beast. best and easiest option would be to use a tv tuner card in a pc.0
