Am I being too pushy?

We've really been through the house buying ringer! We sold our old house eight months ago and have been living with the in-laws ever since. We did this, mistakenly thinking it would make the process simpler.
We're now on attempt four and hopefully this one will work out. It's a refurb project and chain free. We're getting pretty close to exchange, the sellers need to provide us with copies of various certificates and guarantees and the valuation takes place next Tuesday.
Anyway my question is, is it too much to be chasing every day? I don't want to antagonise the seller, solicitor or estate agent but we want to exchange during w/c 24th March so I feel like I need to keep on top of things.
We really need this to work out, I am so desperate to exchange and get things properly sealed. The previous property we were buying fell through two days before exchange so I know, from bitter experience, that its not done until its done!

I guess I would say chase people when there is something to chase.
For example, if the vendor hasn't sent a specific certificate to his soliciotor, you could phone him each day to remind him, until he actually sends it.
On the other hand, if nothing further can progress until the valuer visits, I guess there would be nothing to chase in the meantime.0
