UKPC Parking Charge
Ok, brief outline:
I received a Parking Charge on 01/01/14 from UKPC in the car park for the flats where I live. The details advise that "Parked in a permit space without displaying a valid Permit" My Permit was in fact displayed on my dashboard but had fallen sideways, this can been seen in the photos taken by UKPC showing a resident Permit.
After reading on some other threads I ignored the initial parking charge and on Friday 7/03/14 received a letter from Debt Recovery plus as a demand for payment of unpaid parking fine.
Can anyone please advise as to what I should do next?

Many thanks Nodding Donkey - does it matter that I have not received a Notice to Keeper - am I too late to appeal?
Should I have appealed when I received the ticket on the windscreen?
Sorry for all the questions!0 -
