A face to face assessment in my view occurs if the evidence is not overwhelmingly in your favour and they have zero chance of finding you fit for work based upon the evidence. That means not relying on ATOS to get the evidence and sending as much supporting evidence in your favour as possible!

Your ESA wont be affected. PIP is based on needs and not the condition itself.

Hi all, very new to all this,
ATOS said I do not need a work capability interview/assessment and have sent my paper work back to the ESA they said it looks likely I will go into the support group,I was told today on the phone.
has anyone else experienced similar? What are the waiting times for a decision and payments ?
    Thank you in advance

Looks like the letter is wrong
    Look at post #15

Both of you would have to be getting DLA middle or high, or PIP DL,
Or one of you to be pension credit age to get more than £171.80
