Query of Income Support Calculation for 2014/5

I recieved my new benefits calculation for Income Support for 2014/5 financial year and found myself a bit shocked with what I am getting from 22/03/2014. I have noticed I am getting £130 a week from this date, but noticed they have not taken away my partner's ESA.
He filled in an ESA form and sent it off in early January, and I am aware his contributions based ESA runs out on March 21st.
What concerns me is, will he be getting that money or is this Income Support going to be our sole income?

His ESA will show an end ddate of 21st March on the Income Support system.
As far as they are concerned it will be ending then, unless they are informed otherwise ie. if / when his ESA is processed.0 -
Thanks.
I rang ESA today about my partners money and they have said wait on ATOS, which could take months and mentioned about an ESA3 form to fill in, so he still gets paid.
I have been advised to move to ESA on a couple rates. Would this work out better?0 -
If you claim ESA as a couple, you'd receive the same basic rate (around £112 per week) as you do on inome support, plus either the work related activity group (WRAG) or support cocmponent if he's put into a group. You won't get them on income support. If your partner receives DLA, you'd get the disability premiums on income support. There is an enhanced disability premium paid to people on ESA if they either receive higher rate care DLA, the igher living rate of PIP or are in the support group.
Does your partner receive either DLA or PIP?Sealed pot challenge #232. Gold stars from Sue-UU - :staradmin :staradmin £75.29 banked

Thanks Indie Kid. Both myself and partner claim DLA, and I also claims Carers.0
