Is Pension Credit always paid on the same day of the week?

Posting this on behalf of a relative. She started receiving Pension Credit a couple of months ago, always get paid on Mondays but today she has not received any payment? Are there usually problems with payments (delays)?

When I was getting Pension Credit, the payment sometimes went walkies after I had spoken to them on the phone about the benefit. Another phone call to them sorted out the problem. Apparently, the person you are talking to has to physically tell the system to continue making the payment.

The best thing to do is ring them up and ask.
