npower
hi all im new to the forum i just felt i nneded to tell the world of my dealings with npower in october my contract was up so i moved my gas to sainsburys gas and in december on dec 20th both parties took money from my account so i rang both suppliers and guess what they were both suppling me with gas through one pipeline er how i dont know anyway it turns out that sainsburys gas were my supplier and guess what i cancelled my account with them cause npower told me they were still my supplier and i got charged 30 for the pleasure and a bill for dec and jan for my gas and cancellation fee was £195 so i called both parties again and not one would provide me the customer with proof anyhow todaty i rang back npower who now say no recordings of december exsist and they think i was wrongly advised HELLO so im after an appolagy and i want them to pay my £30 fee as wellas giving me back the £67 they stole from me in december and i had no final bill either so i have nothing to go on so i use paperless bills so i thought i will go online and print off my old bills and what the account was blank they had wiped off all my old records and all my old bills and whats peed me off is they now say im in credit of more than£550 and every month they keep on putting up my direct debits saying im behind im disabled a long story but im unable to work lifes not been good to me or my family and i dont have money to keep giving these greedy companys who controlls them ofgem dont want to know where is martin lewis can i talk to him im quite happy to go on tv and tell the world what cruel people energy companys are is there anyone else out there like me martin smiles all the time and says its so easy to move companys my !!!! please read this martin lewis and please try and sort out my mess as british gas sainsburys keep ringing us up all the time asking for money and adding £5 for saying so and npower steal money from the poor and cant pay me back for 7-10 days and cant even write to me for upto ten working days hello anyone using pidgins anymore please read everyone and please any help would be good

Did Sainsbury's supply you for any of the period in question?
You need to write to both suppliers explaining the situation, if nPower has been your supplier for the whole time then you need that in writing so you can tell Sainsbury's to get lost and to pay you back your money.
If nPower has told you incorrectly then they need to compensate you.
Also who is supplying you NOW?Make £2018 in 2018 Challenge - Total to date £2,1080 -

I'm sorry to hear of the difficulties you're experiencing in finalising your npower account. From reading your post it sounds like either your supply did transfer away from us to Sainsbury's and we need to finalise your account or Sainsbury's transferred the incorrect supply to them and we remained your supplier.
I'd like to try and get to the bottom of this for you, therefore if you can drop me an email using the address from my profile with your full details, I'll see what's happened and how we can get this resolved.

You think that is bad! Npower have been leaching money from my account for years! At one stage they owed me 2.5k!!!! It is now 1.5k, but Npower say it will take 28 days to get MY money back which they effectively stole from my bank account! I am so angry with them. Not once have the called me or sent me an email to discuss. I just get sorry sir it will take 28 days! I've had enough now.... I've raised a complaint, gone to the ombudsman and now I am contacting the press to spread the word about Npower and how they operate. Never again will I do business with Npower and I would recommend anyone to steer well clear! Thieves!0

I am surprised that you managed to get through to talk to NPower. I end up emailing them but never receive a reply just so I have a record for the Ombudman of how many times i have tried to contact them in vain. When i try and ring it is either a 45 minute call wait time or the automated voice tells me 10-17 minutes (like yesterday) but after 30 mins of being on hold i usually give up. It is ridiculous especially after they ask if you are calling about a complaint. I have to put in my account number so they know i keep calling and not getting through.0

I was thinking once to transfer to npower from my supplier but they could not do that right and cocked it up even before the transfer was even completed ,I decided I would stay with my supplier as the hassle was not worth saving £30 a year on my bills ,I got to keep my sanity ............0
