Question for folks with solar PV, or anyone who may know
I'm looking at renting a new place which has solar PV panels on the roof.
I have only seen the place in pictures so far, but it looks like it has two rows of 3 panels, six in total.
Can anyone give a 'rough' idea of the generating capacity for me please?
Thanks.

A bit of a 'how long is a piece of string question'
The commonest size of panel is a nominal 250Wp, so 6 panels will be 1.5kWp (p = peak).
However they could lower output and it depends where in UK you live. Penzance will have a higher annual output than Inverness.
The aspect and slope of your roof are other factors - facing due South is best.
An average annual output might be around 1,300kWh, and you might use around 50% of that 'in-house'.
So in the grand scheme of things it would not IMO be a big factor in deciding if it was a good rental proposition.0 -

Location is Glastonbury, Somerset. Looks like the panels face dead-on south, angle looks to be about 40 degrees. The commonest size of panel is a nominal 250Wp, so 6 panels will be 1.5kWp (p = peak).

The property is EPC rated 1 point below A at 91, so it looks very good on paper. We currently use about 6 -9 units/day of electricity at our current property, so I was trying to figure out how much of an effect the panels would have on that. Six panels seemed like a fairly small array to me, but it could be 8 as part of the roof is not visible in the photos.0
