Help needed - Electral roll how long to appear with credit reference agencies

Hi all,

Do not seem to be getting anywhere when calling Experian and the likes am in the processs of selling my home. The first time buyers who are buying have had a glitch they had a MIP then applied for a full mortgage delcined due to not being on the electoral roll they applied on the information got sent to credit agencies on 17th Feb but still not showing that they are on. Now been 3 full working weeks now going into the 4th. The house we are buying has been forced to go back onto the market due to this and and we are running the risk of losing it.
Anyone know how long it should take for this information to appear

Thanks

  • 3weeks? You'll be lucky if it's 3 months... Took forever when I did it, then after 8months I complained to experian, took a further 10 days after that!

    Good luck.
An opinion is just that..... An opinion

I contacted noddle and equifax re a similar problem as I wasn't showing as being on the electoral roll because our flat has a couple of different numbering systems (flat A, basement flat or garden flat depending on who you ask). equifax fixed it in a week, noddle took a little over a month. not sure about experian as it was already correctly listed with them, but with both equifax and noddle I had to ask twice.
