Bank charges confusion - help please

Hi everyone,
I'd be grateful of any advice as I am considering trying to reclaim numerous bank charges from a few years ago. My partner lost his job as a result of a serious accident and we started being hit with bank charged which spiralled out of control causing hardship.
Anyway, the bank at the time was the TSB, they then merged with Lloyd's and have recently split and I was put with Lloyd's. My question is do I complain to my current bank (now Lloyd's) or go back to TSB.....? I have never switched banks and still hold the same account number as I always have, it has been the banks merging and separating which has resulted in this confusion. Sorry to go round the houses but I am just unsure of who I should direct the complaint to?
Thanks in advance x

Are you currently in hardship? The goodwill gesture that banks consider is for people in current financial hardship. Not historic.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA). Iirc, TSB and Lloyds merged back in 1995, some 19 years ago!
As dunstonh says, banks will only consider claims from those in current financial hardship, not historic.0 -
