They probably have a minimum fee. Also, even though the car was only recovered a short distance the recovery vehicle mileage has to be paid for from where he ran from and possibly where he had to go back to.0

There are some cars where using the wrong fuel can seriously damage the fuel injection system and or exhaust system and could actually write off the car due to the cost of repair. I'm thinking petrol in a common rail diesel injection system, (which has no lubricating properties, or unburnt deisel in a Petrol Cars Cat.
So yes it should be part of comprehensive cover.0 -

Unless you think it is deliberate by one of the insured persons then yes, it is accidental damage (or vandalism if it is deliberate by a non-insured person)0
