What benefits to claim without JSA?

Hi, I have just been signed off Income Support as my youngest child has recently turned 5. I'm struggling to find information that clearly explains what I can claim if I DON'T claim JSA.
Until now I have been claiming Income Support, Housing Benefit and Council Tax Benefit and Child Tax Credit. I guess what I really want to know is can I still receive Housing Benefit and Council Tax Benefit without claiming JSA and will they need notifying that I'm no longer claiming Income Support?
Just FYI though, I have absolutely no problem with going back into work, I'm just scared of claiming JSA because I would rather look and find a job of my own that I want than be made to apply for everything going and not be happy in employment. So I'd rather go without JSA until I find a job, if that makes sense?!
I'm also assuming I can continue receiving Child Benefit?
Many Thanks :)

The council will probably have been notified that you are no longer receiving IS so it is extremely important that you get in touch with them.

You can claim HB and CT support based on a low income but expect to be able to provide evidence of income/bank statements etc etc.

I can understand your reluctance to claim JSA but please take into account that your NI contributions will be made plus some Job Centres are helpful despite the bad press they get!
