Charged again!

I am in the middle of the MCOL process, waiting for them to defend the claim.

I got a letter today say I am being charged 30 pounds for an unpaid cheque fee because my child benefit went in late, and the cheque made me 3 pounds overdrawn.

Shall I start the process again with the first letter as I am not taking this, its taking the p*ss.

Please let me know what I should do, thank you!

Yes, amending a claim costs £35. As you are on benefits, I would have though you are excempt from paying court costs, but only if you file via your local court, not via MCOL.

Oh right, I wasnt sure if Child Benefit counted!

Trouble is, they have listed my local court as Northampton, yet my town has one! How can I change it?
