Try RIAS (Insurance for the over 50s) for home & motor insurance. I've found them consistently cheaper than Saga.

    Shouldn't cost you a thing so everything's cheap :D

(As you don't seem to have been back for a while, we'll take it that you're still celebrating? ;))

If you have been unemployed for a while you can get an element of Working Tax Credits for the 50+'s. Also I think National Express does cheaper travel for the over 50's with a renewable card.

Thought I might be on a winner with National express but unfortunately after checking their website it is cheaper for the over 60's......heigh ho....only another 10 years to go for cheap travel. I then read in the(National Express) FAQ's that the over 50's saver was discontinued in feb 2004 but all cards from that scheme can be used up till their expiry date. In the meantime I'd best dust off me roller blades
You can't please all of the people all of the time,so I've given up trying...I'm on a high getting my life back on track...Hope U can too;)
