Morning all,
Another beautiful day here. I'm feeling much better I think the gloom is lifting:D
We had a lovely weekend sorting out the garden and planning the veggies. Dh loves his garden, that's it now he will be out there every spare minute.
We do love this house especially in the summer. I'm really having second thoughts about moving. It's difficult because we have an interest only mortgage and I don't know if we would be able to change over to a repayment due to our credit history. The solution was to sell and pay off the debts and rent but I would really like to stay here if we can. I'm thinking hard about what we can do.
I managed to book a weekend away for when my brother visits from Australia in July, there are 19 of us, just immediate family. Not easy planning it:eek: but I've managed it, should be good fun.
We are working our way through emptying the freezer at the moment, it was full to bursting. Tonight's tea is chicken in barbecue sauce.
Have a great day xStarted Self Managed DMP 10th May 2017.

Morning all,
People always seem cheerier when the weather is good, long may it last and dry everywhere out .Cats did start to come in our garden after Leo died last year but have stopped again now Lyla is here-she's getting so big and bouncy now and charges around like a mad thing sometimes. She's just been running around with a plastic plant pot stuck on the end of her noseGot to admit she's the one making a mess there now,the grass if littered with pieces of wood she's pinched off the wood pile to have a good chomp on,& the grass is wee scorched :oMight do some tidying after.
Just been in town to get a friends birthday pressie, and DH to call in at the accountants.Got a 2dine£10 in marks, lasagne and garlic mushrooms, can stretch it out with garlic bread for the 3 of us tonight, not very OS but it won't harm for once.Took us ages as our main road was shut due to a fuel spillage, when we came back it looked like it amounted to a foot wide bit at the side near the pavement and it caused chaos :mad:Will be taking the hound for a good walk in a bit,she just had a quick trot round the front field earlier before we went out.
Ok better make the most of the sunshine, have good days all xx:heartsmil 'A woman is like a teabag: You never know her strength until you drop her in hot water'. (Eleanor Roosevelt)0 -

Jackie O, sorry you have been ill, take it easy for a bit....envy you your gardener, OH not keen, I cant really bend....I did ask one guy but he wanted to do it his way and didnt get back to me when I said that it would be my way or the highway, so will try to soldier on.
Mr LW did cut the back lawn on Saturday though, so it'll be a bit easier for poo-picking when Jessie stays next weekend.:Dscarlettsmum wrote: »Today I must clean my front room windows as I have a puppy mentioning no names Scarlett who did some lovely nose art on them whilst she was watching my neighbour cutting his grass yesterday. If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)0 -
Hello all!
What a lovely weekend it was! Yesterday was glorious, probably due to the fact all my housework was done and I drank some beers.
Week 1 of weight watchers is done... 4lbs down! hurrah!
Trying my dress on again in 2 weeks, so if I keep up a steady 2lb a week loss till then hopefully I'll feel better in it.
Dinner tonight will be veggie sausages, mash, green beans and broccoli. It's got chilly again so in need of healthy comfort food.
Not much else to report really, Looking forward to having a long soak in the tub tonight.
Hugs to all who want/need them.0 -
Afternoon all,
shhhhh don't tell anyone I'm here. Ive screwed my pc up and I need to reload windows. I'm playing Spotify doing the odd posting on Facebook and checking on here with no anti virus. Oh well, Windows cant be any more screwed up than it is right now. I screwed up my phone last week downloading a rogue app. Finally got it back to normal yesterday.
Had a lovely weekend. Had our Grandson on Saturday for the day, took him out whilst the sun was shining.
One dog has been liberated of a lot of her coat. Didn't get round to doing the other dog as something cropped up.
Lawns had the first cut of the year. The new lawnmower makes light work of it (well it looked easy anyway). :rotfl:
My hair, well its no longer dark brown. Ive decoloured it. Only trouble is the ends are still darker than the hair on my scalp. Good job ombre hair is still in fashion.:T
The best thing about having a crippled pc is the fact the jobs get done twice as fast. At this rate i'll be bored by Wednesday.
Things that resemble meatballs for tea. I thought they looked nice in the shop but I'm beginning to wonder if i'll like them after all.

Afternoon all,
That's terrible, SS accusing you hilstep!
Well the sun was out this morning but has now gone to hide behind some cloudsManaged to get a load of washing dry though. House is all clean too.
DD sent me a text asking if we can visit the Bridal shop in Bromley when I'm off in April. I didn't need asking twice. Very excited at the prospect of seeing my little girl in Wedding dresses!
DH will probably be late tonight as he is working quite a distance from home today, so left over lasagne and salad for tea tonight.0 -

Afternoon all
I knew it was a mistake going to work today.
I couldn't park in usual place due to a large lorry doing a delivery,
No porridge due to technical fault in the kitchen.
Network down intermittently & giving random error messages on copier screens!
One copy jammed.
Fire alarm going off intermittently!
I should have stayed in bed!
Still on the bright side a colleague bought me a bag of compost as a thank you for my support with a medical problem she was worried about.
Have a good evening everyone.
Hugs HesterChin up, Titus out.0 -
