Combined postage

To be honest if i was the seller you message would of got my back up and i would of charged you the £8 not the £6..If buyers don't like the PP cost they are not forced to bid and all queries should take place before a sale not after. I wouldn't even mark them down they stated £2.00 each and combined their postage and given you a reduced rate of £6.00, you shouldn't mark a seller down because of what you presume they should charge.0

And this is a perfect example of why sellers lose their selling rights due to problems with their expanded seller dashboard.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. I only sell the very odd item but i feel sorry for the decent sellers who rely on Ebay for an income and lose the selling rights due to buyers greed, scamming etc..EBAY used to be a trust worthy site, now it's hard to trust anyone buyers and sellers alike, Ebay are playing a huge part in there own downfall aswell.
NOTE: OP i'm not accusing you of the above just replying to Soolin!0 -
All very fair points. The items have arrived and the total cost of postage was £2.50, as I expected - well actually it was £2.70 as he decided to send it first class, which was not what he put on the invoice
I'm not going to challenge the seller as the items are still worth more than the total price I paid
However, it would have been impossible to ask beforehand as there were 12 items which I bid on, but only won 4; he would have had to quote several million different prices0 -

Not by any mathematical standard would it have been 'several million prices,' perhaps that is your downfall, a lack of grasp on reality?
Always ask before, be it 1 or a million items....it is simple to ask and not your issue if it's difficult to answer.0 -

Rubbish
"Hi, I'm planning on bidding on a number of your auctions. If I win more than one would you combine postage? thankyou"
I actually sent this exact message only two weeks ago. Seller replied in the affirmative before I bid. I won two of the six I was bidding on. I asked for a new invoice before paying and it was all sorted very easily.0
