Warning notice (parking)

Received a warning notice for parking on a side road at East Surrey Hospital. I tried to park it in the car park but there was no space and about 14 cars waiting to enter the car park (only when another car left). Someone said to just chuck it away as they don't pursue these. I have emailed them and said I am happy to pay the cost of an hours parking, I just couldn't get into the car park to do it. Any advice?

I'm not sure exactly what you mean by 'warning notice', but I do not believe throwing it away is the best advice. We have a forum dedicated to parking fines here though and the regulars there will know exactly what to do.

Same happened to me at a Glasgow hospital. Was just glad that it was a warning and not a fine!
I don't need to go back though, so that's a bonus.0 -
My warning said that they had taken my reg number and if I illegally parked again, I'd be fined.
The parking is free at the hospital, but the maternity unit has about 20 spaces. There were another 20 cars parked illegally.0 -
Maybe the easiest thing to do would be to not park there again.0

What company name is printed on the warning notice? (i.e. who manages parking at this hospital?)0

You would have got a parking ticket from a PPC not a fine in any event.0 -
