Loan advice welcomed :)

Options
Having recently been made redundant, I am taking the bull by the horns and taking the opportunity to do something I have wanted to do for a long time - starting a small, low start up cost, business. However, I do need a reliable vehicle in order to get this up and running successfully and to be able to grow the business (animal related). I have some money set aside towards a decent set of wheels, but obviously being unemployed at the moment feel sure that it will be difficult to get any finance. However, I know that someone on here will be able to advise if I am totally correct or if there is an option for me and will be able to point me successfully in the right direction - fingers crossed. Thank you in advance for any advice you can provide :)

Have you considered renting a vehicle temporary ? Insurance is usually all included - it doesn't have to be as pricey as you originally think esp if your on a long term rent not just a one off day.

To be honest where do you get loans from....banks.

Whether it be through a credit card (0% if possible) or a loan....perhaps instead of going in their saying 'I need 5k and I'm unemployed' you walk in thier with a fool proof business plan...which shows how you plan on repaying the money.

It's either that or family or friends...or routes you don't want to go down.
People don't know what they want until you show them.

don't know if this will help at all, Natwest info on starting up/lending.

i'd also look at leasing too.

good luck in your venture :)

Thank you Kayalana99. I had the lease option as I figured it would require me to be working even though I am in the process of setting this up but I am going to check out out! I have my business plan done and being....hopefully...approved this week sometime...so...yes...maybe that might help :)
AbbieCadabra ... thank you for your good wishes :) I will check the link this evening!

Take a look at the likes of Apex rental for the first year, then see about a lease after that.
