Is there any new types of investments I could look into I have been looking into mining bitcoin that is now no longer profitable from what I have read.

Is there any new investments I could look into something most people miss

These are all old
-Saving
-Mining Bitcoin/Liecoin
-Gilt/Bonds
-Stocks and shares
-Gold and silver
-Investing in business through a Crowdfuning website (return on my money) this kinida new

Or should i just jump back into a old type of investment above?

Energy storage via latent heat - the next big thing for wind power and solar. You might need to do a bit of digging for an investment method though.

That's not advice: I wouldn't touch it with the proverbial bargepole myself.
