Beware of this company as they will inform you that goods are on the way but you will not receive them.

Several emails were sent to this company of which they would not respond until I threatened them with my solicitor to get them to return the money they took from my Credit Card. Nick Turner then emailed me and told me to go away and stop being a nonsense of course that made me so happy , I emailed him again and today he has informed me that after checking their system they owe me money of which is being refunded.

If anyone has had dealings with this company ensure they don't owe you money as they were recently involved in an internet scam ?

I was suprised to read this as I live in Cardiff; my family have used the 'real' shop on & off for several years...I've always found them to be very helpful.

You say they have been involved in an internet scam, could you explain further?

Sorry - don't know how to do the 'mini' version, but try going onto here and you will see for yourself.

This company's treatment of customers is an absolute disgrace: the e-mails that I received were abusive, and no matter what genuine offers they may have in the future, I will NEVER purchase from them ... and I have also warned my family / friends not to touch this company with a bargepole!!!!

Am I the only person who finds that message is one meant to damage the reputation of the company as opposed to a subjective review?

Not only is there no truth or foundation of evidence of any internet scam, the treatment of one or two individuals does not constitute a warning that all their goods will not be sent. I doubt they'd have been in business for so long if any of that was true.

Clearly a mistake was made but looks to me like they resolved it. It's a pity that people on the whole are always quick to want to air their views when they feel they've been unfairly treated and seldom anyone can be bothered to praise good service.

I felt compelled to write this as, being a customer of over 30 years, I've watched Nick Turner grow up in the shop as I've taken my film's into be developed. Every camera I've ever bought has been from there too. A family business that not only has Jessops and the other bigger stores quaking in their boots with their cheaper prices but actually KNOW INSIDE OUT the products they sell. I always feel confident that they will give me the best deal and camera.

I was surprised to see this shop posted on here. I always shop there they are brilliant, I moved away from Cardiff in 2002 but I always go back to the store when ever I need camera stuff.
These posts are describing a completely different shop to me.
I hope that not everyone is put off by theses negative posts

I joined this site especially to leave my 1st comment. On typing in the shop name on Google to get their website address, it was around the 4th link to pop up. Title 'warnings & rip off's' was too curious a comment NOT to look at. I'm only too happy to have taken the time to have done so.
